Why “DevRazor”?

I recently launched this site and wanted my first long‑form note to share the story behind the name. While this will be mostly a technical space (mobile dev in Swift/Kotlin, AI/ML, etc.), the origin matters.

“Dev” reflects my passion for building—coding, shipping products, and creating practical, innovative solutions.

Razor‑Sharp Inspiration

I’ve long admired the samurai’s katana—precision, balance, and discipline. It’s more than a sword; it’s a symbol of craft and focus. Growing up, I often told my son to “be as sharp as a razor,” a family mantra that still guides my work.

Occam’s Razor

William of Ockham’s principle: when two explanations compete, prefer the simpler one. In code and in business, I aim to cut unnecessary complexity and keep solutions clear, efficient, and sharp.
